San Beda University consistently dominates NCAA Season 95 as they defeat rival Colegio de San Juan Letran, 75-63, on Tuesday at FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The Red Lions caught fire in the third and engage in a 20-0 to secure the lead coming into the final quarter, and snub the Knights’ efforts in the 4th.

It was win number 15 for the defending champion and Letran Knights dropped to 9 wins and 6 losses.

San Beda’s Clint Doliguez fueled the fire draining a three-pointer added with Letran’s turnover. The leading MVP candidate, Clint Oftana, scored 9 points in the run, with two triples.

We went back to our defensive mentality, and we made some stops and we had a 20-0 run. So again, it’s the effort of the players that should be credited to day because Letran is a very strong team,” said Fernandez.

The Knights cut the lead into 12 points before the final buzzer, but San Beda keeps composure until the end.

Oftana led the team in points with 16 and 6 boards, while Doliguez contributed 13 points. While, Evan Nelle had a stellar performance with 12 points, 7 assists, and 2 rebounds, without committing a single turnover.
