Recently after UAE Astronaut, Hazzaa AlMansoori, completed his journey through space. The UAE looks to have more space ventures as Moscow proposes more satellite launches from the country.
As UAE-Russia partnership looks forward with discovering the space, the Russian government is on the verge of providing $200 billion worth of infrastructure projects.
“We are very impressed by the UAE’s space program. We know it’s developing very quickly. UAE space officers are being trained at Russian facilities. And there are several projects in space we are discussing with the UAE, including the launching of satellites from the UAE territory using some of the Russian technology,” Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund said.
To add, the UAE country also prepares for the State visit of Russian President, Vladimir Putin on October 15.
The scheduled visit of the president on the 15th will be his first after a decade. The historic visit would significantly make a shift in the Kremlin’s Middle East policy, both politically and economically, Officials reported to KT.
Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, shared that “We are very excited about the UAE’s first spaceman,”
He added that “I saw the photos of him arriving and I could see he’s very happy. I know he comes from a rural area in the UAE, so I think it’s really an amazing accomplishment and great to see he was very successful in space. I think cooperation in space can be very significant, and we believe the UAE can become a very strong space power going forward.
Lastly, he concluded that Russia would publicize some of its success stories in space industry, along with technology and agriculture in the much-awaited Dubai Expo 2020.
