Houston Rockets veteran guard Gerald Green could be out for several months with broken left foot, The Athletic reported on Sunday.
The 2007 NBA slam dunk champion will have further tests this week, according to report.
During Thursday’s pre-season game against Toronto Raptors in Tokyo, Green was seen limping off the court.
In the previous season, Green participated in 73 games in which he averaged 9.2 points, and 2.5 rebounds in 20.2 minutes.
2019 to 2020 season is Green’s 13th year as a NBA player and third season with the Houston Rockets.
The Rockets will face the Milwaukee Bucks in the opening season of 2019-2020 on October 24.
