Pinoy Seafarers safe in South Korea oil tanker explosion

Fifteen Filipino are seafarers of an oil tanker that exploded in Ulsan, South Koreaon September 29, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported on Tuesday.

The Filipino crew were evacuated together with other crew members of the Stolt Groenland, a 25,000 ton, Cayman Island-flagged oil tanker, according to a statement by DFA.

10 people got injured in the blast-off, mostly were workers at the terminal, fire official said. Nine of them were South Korean nationals, including one in critical condition, and the other one was from India.
