Pakistan to tie up its workforce portal with UAE

A bilateral meeting with UAE’s Nasser bin Thani Al Hamli, Minister of Human resources and Emiratisation of the UAE, and Syed Zulifqar Abbas Bukhari, Spicial Assistant to the Prime Minister on Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resources Development transpired on October 16, 2019 on the sidelines of the Ministerial Consultations of Abu Dhabi Dialogue.

During the meeting Bukhari said, “Pakistan is all set to digitally connect its workforce portal with the UAE.”

The two ministers reminisced the historic and friendly relations of the two countries over the years and will push to further strengthen the ties with each other.

Pakistan’s SAPM notified recent efforts made by Pakistan to digitally connect its workforce platform with the UAE Ministry of Human Resources.

Moreover, the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding in the field of manpower is also discussed by the two ministers.

The SAPM is looking forward to see growth in employment as the digital connectivity sets off in the UAE. In addition, this partnership will minimize the cost of recruitment and will make the process of recruitment reliable, efficient, and faster.

On the other hand, UAE minister, Al Hamli, commended the important role of Pakistani workforce in the development of the UAE.

Pakistan and the UAE have a long standing close relationship that reflects on their shared interests and common values.
