National Centre of Meteorology (NCM): Tropical Depression Forming Northeast of Arabian Sea


A tropical depression was seen by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), forming in the northeast part of Arabian sea. According to authorities, it will have no direct impact in UAE for the next three days.

Authorities reported, that the tropical depression is moving at a speed of 15 kmph, with an estimated wind speed around the center of 45 to 55 kmph along with intense rainy clouds.

NCM also reported that the formation is located at a latitude of 20 degrees north and longitude of 69 degrees east.

NCM emphasizes that the tropical depression deepens and moves west to northwest to the center of Arabian Sea in 24 hours. Within the next 24 hours, it will continue to further develop into a tropical storm.
