Dreamscape Entertainment was pleased to announce that K-pop star Nancy McDonie of Momoland will star alongside James Reid for romantic drama series ‘Soulmate.’
Nancy, the South Korean idol is half-South Korean and half-American. Meanwhile, Filipino-Australian James Reid is one-half of the JaDine tandem.
James recently left his former talent agency; Viva and this will be his comeback project in ABS-CBN after Idol Philippines. In an interview, James asked fans to not name new love teams for he has one already (JaDine), with his real-life girlfriend, Nadine Lustre.
Titled Soulmate, the series is set to be helmed by acclaimed director Antoinette Jadaone. Jadaone previously worked with Reid on tv series,’ On The Wings Of Love’ and ‘Till I Met You,’ and film ‘Never Not Love You.’
Nancy is one of the members of K-pop girl group, Momoland and is behind the hits “Bboom Bboom” and “BAAM.” The group gained popularity in the Philippines and has performed several shows around the world.
The girls previously held a concert in Dubai as part of their world tour, ‘Momoland Live in Concert’, last January 4.
