Dubai’s Crown Prince challenge residents to exercise 30 minutes every day for 30 days
DUBAI – In an effort to make the residents lead healthier lives, Dubai has launched the Dubai Fitness Challenge under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai Government and Dubai Sports Council.
Every resident is urged to exercise 30 minutes every day for 30 days starting from October 20 until November 18, 2017.
There will be over 1,000 free workout sessions at different locations for everyone to choose from.
A total of 88 partner fitness and sports facilities and 75 pop-up fitness locations will be opened for everyone to stay active for the one whole month.
Some of the sports events supporting the #Dubai30x30 challenge are XDubai Spartan Race presented by Dubai Holding, The Color Run Dubai, Super Sports Run Series, Super Sports MINA Mile Swim Series, Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge, Pink Ladies Games, Dubai Desert Warrior Challenge, October’s Saucony Time Trial Run, ADI Super Sprint Triathlon Series, Dubai City Swim, Global Mala, Dubai International Triathlon 2017, and Fitness Expo Dubai.
Activities range from running, swimming, cycling, and yoga. It does not matter which activity one would like to do as long as they move and stay active to be part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge.
An opening carnival will take place at Safa Park to kick off the #Dubai30x30 challenge on Friday, October 20. One can compete as an organization or as an individual.
