DUBAI – One of the known cargo companies in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has just opened their eighth branch in Satwa, Dubai.
Situated at the Manila Building in Satwa, the new chosen location was picked by the Makati Express Cargo team to be closer to their Filipino customers.
“We chose this location to be closer to our mga kabayan who live in the area,” Augusto Marcial, Business Development Manager of Makati and Prime Express Group, told Kabayan Weekly.
He shared that they wanted to provide the best services to their customers and one of the things that they had done was to listen to their customers’ feedbacks.
Due to the increasing amount of Filipinos in the country, Marcial stated that venturing to open more branches would help cater their customers.
“We are looking to open in Deira next,” the Business Development Manager said, noting that they would like to improve their services also.
Present to officially open their Satwa branch on Sunday, June 11, were Philippine Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes with his wife Dr. Yasmin Cortes, and Mr. Abdul Gafoor from the Makati Express Management.
Among other guests were Father Chito from St. Mary’s Church, Genaro Velasquez, Vice President of the Philippine Airlines, and Kabayan Weekly columnist Art Los Banos.
“I would like to thank the undying support we have been getting from the Filipino community and to our Consul General, Paul Raymund Cortes, thank you also po for your support,” Marcial concluded.
